Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress, best known for playing Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom", has gained some fame. Calvano has a family in California, and initially was interested at competitive gymnastics. Later, she decided to pursue a career in acting. She made her screen debut in 2010 on an episode of the CBS show "NCIS,". One year later her debut big screen appearance was in the biographical thriller movie J Edgar. She became one of the top young actors to be seen over the next few decades. She received an award nomination to the Young Artist Award, Best performance by a Young Actress in a Television Series for her part in the show "NCIS". The actress was also nominated 2013 for an Young Artist Award, this time because of her appearance as a guest actor on Disney XD's comedic series "Kickin' it". Calvano had a role in the cast of Mom throughout its first three years and appeared at least a few times in the fourth. Calvano's role in the role of a rising star in Mom was recognized with an award called the Gracie Allen Award, which is awarded to female actors.
